Drunk Driver Kills Man Riding Scooter in Brooklyn

October 13, 2011 – Brooklyn, N.Y. – According to a report from NBC New York, a drunk driver kills a man that was riding his scooter.  The fatal accident occurred around 7 p.m. on Monday, October 10, at Meserole Avenue and Leonard Street. An unidentified 41-year-old man was on his scooter, stopped at a stop sign when he was struck from behind. The driver of the car, an unidentified 29-year-old man, is believed to have been under the influence when his 2002 Buick struck the man on the scooter.
