July 20, 2011 – Manhattan, New York – In a report from NY1, a Manhattan hit and run driver critically injured his girlfriend. The hit and run took place on Saturday, July 9, around 3 a.m. when an unidentified 23-year-old woman was struck in Midtown Manhattan on West 46th Street by a Honda Pilot. The unidentified 28-year-old driver was later found at Harlem Hospital. He was there as a result of being injured in a single car accident on Harlem River Drive. According to police, they believe the man is the victim’s boyfriend and had been arguing with her prior to the hit and run. The victim was transported to Bellevue Hospital where she was listed in critical condition. So far the boyfriend hasn’t been arrested and the accident remains under investigation.
