Faulty TV Stands Recalled by Vizio

Vizio is recalling 39 and 42-inch televisions for faulty stands.

The recall includes their E-series 39 and 42 inch flat panel full-array LED televisions. The stand assembly on these televisions can fail and the devices will tip over unexpectedly.

There have been 51 complaints of the televisions tipping over, but no injuries have been reported yet.

Recalls.gov lists the models and serial numbers involved in the recall.

If your television is under recall, it is advised to immediately detach the stand, put the television in a safe place and contact Vizio for a replacement stand assembly. If your television is wall-mounted, you should still request the replacement stand assembly just in case you will use the stand in the future.

Vizio can be contacted by calling (855) 472-7450 or visit their website at www.vizio.com and click on “Safety Notice” for more information.

If you or a loved one has been injured as a result of a faulty product, you may be entitled to compensation. Contact one of our Gacovino Lake attorneys at 1-800-246-HURT (4878) for more information.
