Campaign Looks for Whistleblowers Aware of Medical Device and Pharmaceutical Defects

A news release from the Corporate Whistle Blower Center announces a national initiative being launched to look for whistleblowers aware of defective medical devices and pharmaceuticals. This effort is focused on insiders who have evidence to prove that regardless of safety concerns, defective devices and drugs are being marketed and sold to consumers.

This includes doctors and others who have some type of relationship with the manufacturer or drug maker and has firsthand knowledge of a company knowingly selling a defective drug or medical device. So what’s the carrot being dangled in front of these insiders? It is a potentially hefty reward, possibly even into the millions depending on the circumstances of the case.

The group notes, “We intend to blow the lid off of what we see as non-stop medical device, or pharmaceutical failures, with little to no oversight from the FDA, or the US Congress.”

Proof could come in the way of internal correspondence or email. If there is enough evidence to suggest a legitimate case, the Corporate Whistle Blower Center will work with the insider to compile all helpful documentation.

This is an aggressive campaign against those who would market and sell products that are harmful to consumers with no thought or concern for safety. Defective medical devices and pharmaceuticals can lead to serious or even fatal injuries. Unfortunately, this is a reality for some patients who are harmed by a faulty medical device.

If you or a loved one was injured by a medical device or have taken a drug that has caused medical problems or injury, consult with a NY defective medical devices attorney. Call Gacovino, Lake & Associates at 1-800-246-HURT (4878).
