Bean Bag Recall due to Choking Hazard after Death of Two Children

About 2.2 million bean bag chairs have been recalled for a possible choking hazard following the death of two children, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said Friday.

The chairs were made by Ace Bayou Corp., based in New Orleans, and sold at Bon-Ton, Meijer, Pamida, School Specialty, Wayfair and Wal-Mart stores, as well as online on Amazon.com.

The zippers on the chairs can be opened and children can crawl inside and become trapped.

If you have one of these recalled bean bags, either return to place of purchase for a refund or throw away.

If your child has been injured due to this defective product, you may be entitled to compensation for your damages. For more information, contact one of our Gacovino Lake attorneys at 1-800-246-HURT (4878).
