Trek 2012 FX Bikes Recalled Due to Fall Hazard

In a report from U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Trek 2012 FX bikes have been recalled due to a fall hazard. If you have sustained serious injuries from a defective product, you may be able to collect compensation through a defective product claim. It is best to get in touch with a lawyer to discuss your legal options.  Imported by Trek Bicycle Corp., of Waterloo, WI, Trek 2012 FX and District bikes have been recalled as a result of a bolt that secures the seat clamp to the designated post potentially breaking. This recall is reported to affect approximately 27,000 bikes.  So far there have been 4 reports of incidents involving a fall from the bike. In 1 of the falls, the victim suffered a lip injury and broken tooth. Consumers are being advised to immediately stop using the bike and contact a Trek dealer in order to receive a replacement bolt free of charge.  When a defective product leads to serious injuries, then you may be entitled to seek compensation through a claim. You should speak with a New York defective product attorney to evaluate your case and see if you have a claim worth pursuing. You don’t have to deal with faulty construction alone and you shouldn’t.
