Woman Rollerskating Struck and Injured by Bus in Manhattan

August 22, 2011 – Manhattan, New York – According to a report from NY1, a woman rollerskating in Manhattan, on Wednesday morning, August 17, was struck and injured by a city bus.  The Metropolitan Transportation Authority indicated that an M42 bus struck the woman rollerskating when it was pulling up to the Circle Line cruise terminal at 43rd Street and 12th Avenue, at about 8 a.m.  The unidentified 68-year-old was then taken to Bellevue hospital with what is believed to be a leg injury.  Police are still investigating the accident.
